Dahlia Milon Textile is an artisanal textile maker specializing in vegetable dyeing as well as a gardener who grows dye plants. In the preparation of her dyes, they mainly use plants from their dye plant garden as well as from the harvest of wild plants from Kamouraska area where their studio is located.

Making a vat of Indigo from dry leaves allows you to live a unique experience with nature where wonder is present! Creating a vat of indigo with thiox which is offered in this kit is the easiest to achieve. It’s a great way to get started with indigo dyeing!
The kit allows you to dye natural fibers of animal and plant origin.

The kit includes:

• an illustrated explanatory booklet
• 20g of sodium carbonate (soda ash)
• 15g of thiox
• 10g citric acid

This kit can dye up to 1kg of fiber depending on the desired saturation.
